Limitations of IP Address 192.168.8.1
Since it is an IP address of the private network, it is necessary to be connected to the network because of which we have to be in close proximity to be able to access the network. Also, only a limited number of connections, i.e., 254 is possible.
The proximity factor is difficult to meet in case of large networks managed by large companies or institutions.
Moreover, the limit on the number of connections which is a small number in the present age where most of the peripherals are cheap and are different for different computers make it inconvenient for a more extensive network to use. The rise of IoTs may bring 254 connections next to nothing.
All these factors limit its usage in more extensive networks and hence limits it’s usage to small systems.
